International Meeting 2025: Shaping the Future
This Tuesday and Wednesday, April 8 and 9, we held our International Meeting 2025 at Sammic — a biennial event that gives us the chance to stop, reflect and move forward together.
Over the course of two days, all our sales teams from our international offices in Mexico, the United States, Italy, Portugal, France, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam gathered with colleagues from Sammic’s headquarters to share a common space, strengthening bonds and exploring new perspectives.
The first day took us to the historic Basazabal Jauregia in Azpeitia, where we looked back at the past, considered the present and looked ahead to the future. We shared knowledge and explored the latest developments in our dynamic preparation, ware washing and sous-vide solutions, while reflecting together on strategy and marketing. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch at the local gastronomic society “Basazabal”, where we had the chance to do a traditional “Txotx!”. The day ended with dinner at Itxaropena 1910 restaurant in San Sebastián, where local gastronomy took centre stage in our conversations.
The following day, we met at Sammic's facilities to outline future strategies with the management team and see the new premises currently under construction. After a delicious lunch prepared by Fleischmann’s Cooking Group in Sammic’s kitchen, we visited the majestic Basilica of Loyola, connecting with the cultural richness that surrounds us. Later, we headed to Getaria to tour the Txomin Etxaniz winery, where we learned about the tradition of txakoli and tasted its different varieties. The day wrapped up with an early dinner at Enrique Fleischmann’s Txoko Getaria, in a relaxed atmosphere that encouraged us to strengthen our relationships even further.
For two days, we spoke about the past, the present and the future. About who we’ve been, who we are and who we aspire to become. We shared knowledge and experiences, explored our solutions and put new ideas to the test. They’ve been days of contrast, because contrast is essential for growth: tradition and technology, history and strategy, land and sea, words and flavour.
Learning, sharing, talking, experimenting, enjoying, tasting. And so much more. That’s what Sammic’s most international International Meeting has been all about:
